Infinite Campus Parent Portal: The Infinite Campus Parent Portal is a parent-specific log-in to the shared community wide Infinite Campus database. The Parent Portal presents information about students to authorized parents or guardians in real time.
When you as a parent or guardian log-in, you will see information about all of the students you are associated with. Class schedules, assignments, and grades can be viewed if your student attends the middle or high school. E-mail hyperlinks facilitate communication with classroom teachers. In addition, schools post important information on the home page, such as events, notices, etc. Attendance information is also available. The Parent Portal allows report cards to be viewed online and printed.
Using the Infinite Campus Online Parent Portal, MCSD provides an online communication tool which can help you as a parent or guardian stay current with your student's progress. From an Internet connection at home, the workplace, or any public library, you can view up-to-date information about your student's attendance and grades.

6th & 8th Grade iPad program
During FOCUS on Monday, Oct 10th, 6th and 8th grade students will be checking out iPads for the remainder of the school year. The iPads will be STAYING at school until later in December once learning processes and expectations have been well-established. Before the iPads come home, we will also be hosting a parents night to discuss how devices will be used for learning, along with parenting tips and common sense media resources. In addition to that, CMS will also have an Informational Desk at Parent Teacher Conferences Nov 17th to answer any question and address concerns. All CMS students are working through the Scope & Sequence: Common Sense K-12 Digital Citizenship Curriculum every Thursday during FOCUS. There are also great parent resources for you to access on Digital Parenting at: https://www.commonsensemedia.org/educators/connecting-families. iPad Parent/Student Agreement form and insurance forms have been sent home but can be accessed below.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us.
Students will have the option to purchase an insurance plan for their iPad through the district at a cost of $50. You may choose to enroll in this plan and pay the fee at the office by the insurance enrollment deadline of November 2nd. If this fee is not received by November 2nd, insurance will no longer be available until Fall of 2017. If you choose not to purchase insurance, you will be responsible for all replacement/repair costs associated with the iPad.
